RARE mint Michael Jackson 1988 BAD Tour press promo polo top Italy
This is an original unworn promotional top which was given to press representatives at Michael Jackson's press conference at the Hilton Hotel in Rome in 1988 the day before the start of the European leg of his world tour in May 1988 at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome. I was there as I was a music journo at the time, we were handed out a top each after the press conference as part of our press kit. It did not come in a plastic bag or with a tag, but it has never been worn, it has been kept folded in a plastic bag in a box in a smoke- and damp-free home. It measures 64cm shoulder to bottom and 49cm across the front, stitching to stitching (see pictures with measurements). This would make an ideal addition to collectors of Michael Jackson's memorabilia, it is in mint condition and, I believe, quite rare.
