RARE Michael Jackson Dangerous World Tour Estadio Azteca Mexico'93 Crew Pepsi Bomber Jacket. Soooooo, I was staying at the InterContinental Presidente in Mexico City on business (rumored to be where Micheal Jackson was staying unbeknownst to me). I was in the lounge when a few crew members came in.
He named his price and it was mine. It's been stored away all these years. There is "PEPSI" stitched on the front and "Michael Jackson Dangerous World Tour Estadio Azteca Mexico'93" on the back.It is a nice thick, black bomber jacket that buttons down the front. No tags or size on inside just nice quilted material. I have seen jackets that people bought at the concert and they have a the tour logo (Michael's eyes) and are much more ornate. I have not seen one like this. I had it appraised and was told it was, in fact, rare.
This event tour was organized by Pepsi. Estadio Azteca is the venue. 500,000 people attended October 29 and 31. November 7, 9 and 11.
On February 3, 1992, in a Pepsi press conference, it was announced that Jackson would be touring again. Also, the reason I could not attend concert.11/02/93: Mexico City, Mexico, Azteca Stadium; Rescheduled for November 7, 1993. Due to serious health problem. 11/03/93 or 11/04/93: Mexico City, Mexico, Azteca Stadium; Rescheduled for November 9. 11/06/93: Mexico City, Mexico, Azteca Stadium; Rescheduled for November 11, 1993. I was sad to miss the concert being a HUGE fan all my life. Sad that he is gone. Hopefully in a better, kinder place. Jacket is to big and bulky for me here in Florida.
