This 27 page 9"x12" booklet was exclusively provided to executives at Sony-Columbia to promote awareness of MJ's upcoming "HIStory" Album. Has a gold cover with very thick high quality pages, and features early artwork for HIStory that reads The King of Pop: Never Before in History... " Was written and published in early 1995, prior to the release of the album (this is obvious since it describes HIStory as containing "25 of his best hits and 5 new releases). RARE Michael Jackson HIStory Book printed on heavy weight paper and gold ink was used in the printing which Michael Jackson personally supervised and picked out. All his awards from 1970 up through 1993 are listed, as well as all his charities, and career achivements and'HIS-Story'. This book was never for sale in book stores or elsewhere! This booklet was the means by which all the possible talking points and media interest/concerns were intended to be addressed. It possesses incredible spin and insights into Michael's image that he wanted to present to the world through the recipients of this exclusive booklet. The names of those who personally received this booklet in 1993 read like a veritable who's who of the entertainment industry and no additional books were given out. The printer's remainder of the booklets were distroyed upon Michael's specific terms regarding his belief in numerology. Those few that remain were given to MJ's personal art director who had been selected by Michael to this project, with instructions from MJ as to what he wanted done with them with regard to being rewards to special and unique fans who shared his passion for helping other people through their own unique talents and creative expression.
